Growing Forward at The Vineyards and Winery at Château Hough

Sun 6/12 @ 2-6PM

Since community activist and CoolCleveland columnist Mansfield Frazier’s passing in October, 2021, those he had mentored and had a profound effect upon have been discussing ways to move forward in his absence to honor his work and further impact the community.

The Vineyards and Winery at Château Hough, in collaboration with parent non-profit Neighborhood Solutions Inc. is launching Growing Forward, a series of monthly conversations to solicit the community’s views on how to best manifest the vision of the Winery at Château Hough. They are hosting three monthly events on the second Sunday of the month to be held outdoors at the Winery, 1650 E. 66th Street in the heart of Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood.

The first event will be Sunday June 12 @ 2-6 pm. The subsequent events will be held on Sundays July 10 and August 14, and light refreshments consisting of fruit, cheese and punch will be served. The events are free.

The guests will be encouraged to engage in a discussion of their ideas on the future of the winery.

The mission of Neighborhood Solutions, Inc. is to address pre-entry among several high-profile groups: at-risk youth, veterans, homeless, and those newly released from incarceration – and assist them in becoming positive contributors in their communities.
