Quire Cleveland Returns with a Rejoicing Holiday Program

Thu 12/2 @ 7:30PM

Fri 12/3 @ 8PM

Sat 12/4 @ 8PM

Professional early-music vocal group Quire Cleveland is finally back, performing live, which should make its annual Christmas shows exceptionally rejoicing.

Carols for Quire XI: Mary’s Song is the opening program of the group’s 14th season. It will feature many familiar carols along with three 16th-century settings of the Magnificat, Mary’s song of praise to the Lord, which the group’s description refers to as “a call to awaken our collective souls and spirits to bask in renewed life through the sounds of the human voice!”

It will perform the program three times at three different area churches: on Thursday December 2 at St. Paschal Baylon in Highland Heights, on Friday December 3 at Our Lady of Peace in the Shaker Square area, and on Saturday December 4 at St. Ignatius of Antioch in the West Boulevard/Cudell neighborhood.

All performances are free, seating is open and no reservations are required (A freewill offering will be taken). Masks are required. All the singers are vaccinated!
