Tours of Cleveland offers a variety of walking tours exploring the history, art and architecture of various parts of downtown Cleveland.
For the Halloween season, it’s offering a “Tales of Terror” walking tour daily from Friday October 15-Sunday October 31 @ 6pm, with additional 4pm tours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
On this tour, which meets up at Public Square, you’ll hear about tragic and horrifying events in Cleveland history, including fires, explosions, accidents, murders and much much. “This is not a “ghost story” tour,” they say. “This is seven tales that cover the tragic deaths of 312 souls here in Cleveland.
They do not recommend this tour for children or the squeamish. Tours are an hour and a half long, and take place rain or shine (rain would add to the atmosphere, wouldn’t it?) Cost is $20 and you must pre-register. Go to www.toursofcleveland.com.
