The Greater Cleveland Aquarium is bringing back its seasonal celebration called “Pumpkins & Piranhas” for a three-day pre-Halloween celebration.
Visitors are invited to wear costumes and if they’ve got an aquatic theme, so much the better (they don’t have to, though: the 2019 celebration — there was none in 2020 — saw princesses, scarecrows and supereroes).
The extended-hours event includes such special add-ons as costumed SCUBA divers and underwater pumpkin decorations, animal enrichment demonstrations, I Spy/trivia relating to the aquarium residents and a small treat bag for the kids. Everything is included with regular admission: $19.95 for adults, $13.95 for 2-12. Attendance is limited and social distancing is being practiced so reservations are a must.
