Ingenuity’s October Ignite! Night Features a Neighborhood Clean-Up and S’Mores

Thu 10/21 @ 5-8PM

Throughout the year Cleveland’s Ingenuity Festival has been presenting monthly Ignite! Neighbor Nights in a lot near the corner of East 55th and St. Clair, near its home in the Hamilton Collaborative. There it’s had performances and interactive activities of all kinds, along with local organizations offering information on everything from education to healthy food to engage members of the surrounding community.

Last month it held its one-day Ingenuity at the Lake at Gordon Park and the MLK Boat launch area in lieu of the usual three-day festival at the Hamilton Collaborative, but this month Ignite! is back. “Spark + Scare,” a community clean-up/reverse trick-or-treat event, is being held at Goldhorn Brewery, on East 55th near St. Clair. It’s a family-friendly neighborhood clean-up that will also feature some of the partners who’ve been at previous events including Ben Smith of the Splice Cream Truck, the Cleveland Metropolitan School district, Art Bloc and Drink Local Drink Tap.

Attendees will be rewarded with s’mores and costumes are encouraged. It’s free and open to all.
