Have you always wanted to try your hand at life drawing from a model but, not being an art school student, didn’t know where to go to give it a shot? The new Kaiser Gallery in Tremont is the place, where an open life drawing session takes place this week. The free session is open to all skill levels; just bring some dry drawing materials to use.
And the model should be a lot of fun. She’s Sassy Sascha, a local drag queen who actually is a female but has mastered all of the gestures of drag in her extravagant costumes and exaggerated moves, combining show(wo)manship and humor. She’s known for hosting the long-running, family-friendly drag brunches now at the Winchester — so yes, you can bring your artistic kids too.
The session is free, but you must register. Go here.
