Akron Chef Teaches Virtual Class in Making New Orleans-Style Desserts

Wed 9/29 @ 7PM

Akron-born and -raised chef Dannika Stevenson is the owner of the Akron-based Sip.Savor.Soul, a business which teaches families and kids how to eat better, in part by sharing information about simple-to-prepare recipes that even kids can do without turning on a microwave. She teaches cooking classes, caters events and designs cookies.

When Stevenson is the guest of the Hudson Library & Historical Society for a live virtual program, she’ll show those who log on how to make New Orleans-themed desserts, including the classic powdered-sugar-laden beignets that visitors to that city flock to Café du Monde to order with chickery coffee.

The program is free but registration is required. Go here to register.
