You know summer is popping when shops are open, venues are presenting shows, and folks are traveling. Let’s keep it on a low simmer for now and stay safe.
The Rock Hall Inductions are back in person, and tix go on sale Friday. The Ohio Fashion Week Extravaganza is happening in September, and they are currently looking for photo submissions. Waterloo Arts Fest is also returning in September, and has put the call out for artists, vendors and musicians.
Poets are doing an open-air reading at Coventry Library, there’s a City Club Forum on making the lakefront more accessible, the Vindys are putting out a long-awaited new album, Downtown Kent’s Sidewalk Cinema screens free films, Southern Gothic songstress Amythyst Kiah performs at Cain Park, and the Lords of the Land Street Dance Festival takes place on Public Square this Sunday. Let’s stir something up.
