Morgan Conservatory Group Show Features Multigenerational Artists

The Morgan Conservatory, which specializes in teaching, displaying and providing workspace for paper-based arts, has partnered with the Museum of Creative Human Art, an arts-based eduction organization, to present Cross Generations: Bridging the Gap of Arts in its gallery. It will feature intergenerational, multidisciplinary artists brought together by MOCHA as part of its core mission.

“Combining the voices of the older and younger generations, this show is a testament of the best work from these artists at this moment in time, creating a network and celebrating cameraderie,” they say. “Amplifying our artists of color, this exhibition is our collaborative way to shift our focus, bridge the gap, and continue to highlight our artists in our community.”

Artist featured include Lawrence Baker, Davon Brantley, Doug Buford, Orlando Caraballo, Amirah Cunningham, Destyni Green, James Halloway, Joyce Morrow Jones, Sydney Nicole Kay, Amanda King, Azziz Muhammad, Aaron Paschal, Joshua “Jayepinot” Perkins, Theodore Reagin, Bobbi Reagin, Miguel Rivera, Lo Smith, Amani Williams and Tony Williams.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday 10am-pm. The show will be on view through Friday September 17.
