Find Out “Whodunit” on a Summit Metro Parks Self-Guided Walk

Tue 7/27-Sun 8/1 @ 6AM-11PM

The 1993 kids’ book The Little Mole Who Went in Search of Whudunit is the kind of story that gets children keeling over with laughter at something they perceive as a little “naughty.” In the book, a mole coming out of his burrow gets his head pooped on and sets out to find out “whodunit.” He asks a variety of animals to poop so he can check out what it looks like. When he finds out, he poops on THAT animal’s head before returning to his burrow.

That book provides the markers on the self-guided story trail at Summit Metro Parks Wood Hollow Metro Park’s Downy Loop Trail in Hudson, offering the educational opportunity to see if you can find and identify poop along the trail. Get the kids out of the house, get some exercise and watch them snicker with glee. And you can do the walk on your own time and at your own pace, through Sunday August 1.
