There’s no big “packed elbow-to-elbow” event at a local park this year for Taste of Lakewood. But the organizers have re-invented it so people have the opportunity to try out some of the food this restaurant-heavy city has to offer.
Instead it’s become a Lakewood Restaurant Week Sunday June 13-Sunday June 20, with the chance to try several of these establishments and find a new favorite. Participating restaurants will have lunch and diner menu specials. It’s also hosting a kickoff event of sorts, a virtual cocktail party on Monday June 14 to raise money for the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce’s scholarship programs. There’ll be a live component, with a mixologist “performing” at Western Reserve Distillers for in-person ticket holders, but you can also join the event virtually, and host the party at your house: your ticket includes cocktails and food to be picked up the day of the event.
