Rust Belt Riders Co-Founder Shares Food Waste Recycling Story

Thu 6/24 @ 6PM

Maybe some of you remember back to 2014 when Cleveland’s Rust Belt Riders was a couple of guys on bicycles, picking up people’s food scraps, composting them and selling the rich soil they created. That modest organization has grown exponentially, converting massive piles of waste into useable compost to fuel garden growth.

The Zoom program “A Hopeful Story of Food Waste” will feature Rust Belt Riders co-founder Michael Robinson, as he talks about the problems with food waste and how composting can divert it from landfills and becoming an environmental issue.
