The park and walkways at the East 55th Street Marina offer a recreational area for inner-city residents, place to come fish, walk, cycle, picnic, hold a kid’s birthday party or just get some fresh air. It’s a great place for people watching too or, as on a recent evening, gather to watch sailboat classes and some fool swimming offshore.
