Thu 5/20 @ 4-7PM
Fri 5/21 @ 9AM-2PM
After a year’s break due to the you-know-what, happily, Hale Farm & Village’s annual Citizens of Hale Plant Sale is back. The focus of the two-day event will be on heirloom plants and herbs that have a special connection to northeast Ohio, with distinctive perennials grown right at Hale Farm. It’ll also emphasize pollinator plants and gardens, designed to attract the bees and butterflies so essential to a health landscape.
In addition, on Thursday May 20 @ 6-8pm, Hale Farm will be holding an Italian Kitchen Container Garden Workshop, where you’ll learn how to grow all the herbs required for outstanding Italian cuisine. Participants will create a container garden to take home, along with some recipes to try. It’s $50; registration is required. Go here.
During the plant sale, the Marketplace at Hale Farm & Village will be open with snacks and drinks (including wine and beer), along with gift items made in Ohio, some made right at Hale Farm. Masks are required.
