Greek Church Holds Gyro & Pastry Drive-Through Sale

Sat 5/15

Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cleveland Heights is known for one of the largest most popular Greek Festivals, held each year in August — except last year, of course. Like many other churches, it turned its festival into a drive-through food event. Right now it’s too soon to say whether the area’s many distinctive church ethnic festivals will be back this summer and on what scale.

“While we aren’t yet sure what form the festival may take this year, you won’t have to wait until August to get another taste,” the folks at Sts. Helen and Constantine say.

That’s because they’re having a Gyro & Greek Pastry Sale on Saturday, May 15. They’re providing gyro kits to put together at home, serving two or four people, along with koulorakia (Greek Easter cookies), baklava, or an 8-piece pastry sampler.

Order by May 12 at clevelandgreek.com, then stop by Saturday to pick up your order. Go here for more information.
