Explore Downtown Canton in an Arts & Culture Scavenger Hunt

Fri 6/4-Sat 7/3

The Canton Museum of Art is launching a fun way to explore the museum and  the surrounding area of downtown Canton.

It’s called the “Downtown Canton Scavenger Hunt” and it’s centered on the city’s public art and culture, inspired by the museum’s current exhibit Mort Künstler: “The Godfather” of Pulp Fictionwhich features the work of an artist whose dramatic adventure scenes were seen on book covers and in magazines in the 50s and 60s and who provided the visual character studies for the Godfather films.

The event starts at CMA’s front desk where you pick up the free, timed tickets you pre-registered for here. Then you download the GooseChase app on Google Play or the App Store and enter game code 97BEZ4. You’ll then get adventure clues and photo challenges for your smart phone. The scavenger hunts takes one-two hours to finish and at the end, participants are eligible for a free CMA T-shirt. Masks and social distancing are required. The event kicks off during June’s First Friday, June 4, and runs through July 3.
