Spring Farm Markets Kick Off at The Chef’s Garden in Huron

Sat 4/3 @ 9AM-4PM

Farmer Jones is best known for his association with The Chef’s Garden in Huron, started by his family more than three decades ago. It supplies high-quality specialty vegetables, herbs and microgreens to chefs across the country, using regenerative farming practices. More recently, they’ve also made them available to the general public. Farmer Jones himself has been a tireless evangelist for health growing and eating practices.

And the good news is, they’re opening their farmers market just in time for Easter. Stop by for freshly hand-harvested vegetables such as lettuce, spinach and kale, as well as colorful beets, carrots, kohlrabi and spring radishes, snow peas and pea tendrils, mixed herbs, microgreens, and flowers. They’ll also have marmalades, teas and gift items to take as a host gift if you’ve been invited to an Easter dinner.

You can also pre-order a curated vegetable box to pick up at the farm stand and they’ll add a special item. April markets run from 9am-4pm at 9009 Huron Avery Road (corner of Huron Avery and Scheid roads) in Huron.
