PetFix & Platform Beer Join to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Wed 3/17 @ 5:30-6:30PM

Ticket purchase deadline: Wed 3/10

Well, here we go. Although the end is in sight at last, St. Patrick’s Day marks the start of events being cancelled for the second year. If you can remember that far back, it was the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day last year that things shut down, and those parades and celebrations were the first to be on the chopping block. As they are this year — we’re not quite ready to go back.

So you’ll be eating your soda bread and drinking your Guinness at home once again. Or you can help a worthy cause and avoid ending the day drunk on the sidewalk outside an Irish bar at 2am. Euclid-based PetFix, which provides low-cost spay and neuter services for dogs and cats, including rescues and feral colonies, is hosting a virtual “Sips for Snips” party

Each ticket gets you six different craft beers from Platform Beer Co. delivered to your home (in Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain and Geauga counties and parts of Summit and Medina; others may pick up their beer at PetFix). Then join Platform co-owner Paul Benner to learn all about the beers, how they were brewed and how to pair them, and ask him your beer questions. PetFix executive director Christie Lucco will also be on hand to share information about the work they’re doing to cut down the number of homeless pets in northeast Ohio.

Tickets are $35; deadline for purchasing them is Wednesday March 10. Go here to order them.
