Sat 3/6-Sun 3/7 @ 10AM-5PM
Well, so much for home improvement shows this spring, as we go into a second year of cancellations.
Not sure how this is going to work out, but the Medina County Home & Garden show has announced that it will continuing its 38-year run — virtually. Instead of being able to browse booths to look at products, get a feel for the range of products offered and talk directly to representatives, attendees will browse the exhibits at home and talk to exhibitors on live chat to get info and quotes.
“As consumers log on to the show site, they will be greeted with a streaming video, welcoming them to the show and giving some quick instructions on how to get the most out of their visit,” they tell us. “The video also will feature short presentations from local businesses.”
They’ll share tips on topics like organizing your home and doing a spring landscaping cleanup. In fact, those presentations are likely to come closest to duplicating the seminars typically presented at home and garden shows. But we really miss being able to comparison shop, and check out the look and feel of items in person.
Register in advance or on the day of the show here. Get more info about the show here.
