It may be a while before the good old days of Third Fridays are back at 78th Street Studios, with thousands of people cramming the corridors. But things are sparking back to life more and more each month, with more studios, galleries and businesses opening their doors, and last month almost reaching the current set capacity of 400 (which in a building this big is plenty of room to social distance).
This month, more than two dozen spaces will be open, and Northcoast Promotions will have a small group of well-spaced vendors on both the Ramp level and smARTspace. Entertainment has returned in the last several months as well. Victor Samalot has returned to his familiar spot on the Ramp, playing his jazzy guitar grooves, and No Strangers Here, a Irish folk/Celtic trio will be playing in smARTspace. Ad once again, the Rock Hall Joy Van will be parked outside spinning music.
Masks are required, and there’s a $5 fee, for which you’ll get a voucher that can be used at any participating business or gallery for a $5 discount.
