While we’ve seen no big benefit galas in a year, our local arts organizations still need your help and they’re being pretty creative in coming up with fun virtual benefits to make it easy to donate.
Dancing Wheels, Cleveland’s unique ensemble which blends stand-up and wheelchair dancers in bespoke choreography, generally holds its annual Night at the Races “horse racing” party. This year instead, it’s hosting a virtual Trivia Tournament which you can take part in with your family and quarantine pod.
There’ll be multiple rounds of online trivia questions, 50/50 and Bucket of Booze raffles to buy tickets for. Its $50 for each household, team or single player to enter. You can also sponsor a five-question series for a additional $50. Tickets for the 50/50 raffle are $10 each or three for $25 in advance’ tickets for Bucket of Booze are $20 each or three for $50 in advance. (no, your kids, while they can play trivia, can’t have the Bucket of Booze!)
