Learn Risotto-Making Techniques in Online Cooking Demo

Mon 2/1 @ 7PM

A lot of us have likely exhausted our recipe repertoire after almost a year in lockdown and way fewer opportunities to eat out. Luckily, there have been quite a variety of free, streamed cooking demonstrations.

Stir Studio Kitchen, located in Ohio City and Chagrin Falls, offers a large variety of cooking classes for groups, private parties and school groups. They’re very popular and currently, with groups limited to ten people, the public classes are sold out through late February.

Founder and owner Charlie Denk is giving you a chance to drop in on an online class for a sample of what Stir Studio Kitchen does, via the Hudson Library and Historical Society. He’ll show how to make risotto, an Italian specialty that involves soaking rice in various liquids until it becomes creamy and the perfect base for many different types of recipes.

Registration is required for this free public program, and you’ll get the Zoom meeting code the day of the class. Register here. It’ll also be available afterward on the Hudson Library’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
