We don’t know who the poets are, but the Summit Metro Parks Winter Poetry Walk at Furnace Run Metro Park sounds like a lovely idea. Take a slow, solitary walk in the winter woods, taking time to enjoy the sounds and scents and sight — and the poetry. Actually poems will be posted along the trail, perhaps inspiring you to write your own stanzas, much as Japanese haiku poets were primarily inspired by nature.
