Cleveland Botanic Garden’s “Glow” Features Enhanced Outdoor Displays

Through Sun 1/3

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Cleveland Botanical Gardens annual Glow show returned, with enhanced safety precautions, such as one-way paths, and lavish holiday displays inside and out.

While the popular inside displays of trees and wreaths decorated by area garden clubs, poinsettias and other plants, and community-decorated gingerbread houses are back, the real news is how CBG has amped up its outside displays, starting with the giant “GLOW” letters on fronting the lit-up terrace. A self-guided, lighted trail leads through four different decorated winter garden areas. That includes for the first time, the Hershey Children’s Garden, which is open until sunset with colorful holiday lights.

You’ll also want to stop in the Glasshouse to check out the holiday gnome homes, while a decorated, 16-foot white fir is sharing space in Clark Hall with the gingerbread houses.

Pre-registration of timed tickets is required. They’re $15 for adults, $10 for kids 3-12. Buy tickets here.

The show runs through Sunday January 3 and is open December 28 and 29, in addition to its regular Wednesday-Sunday schedule.
