New Maker Town App Offers a Directory to NE Ohio Handmade Businesses

We’ve been spotlighting holiday markets, both virtual and in person. Maker Town isn’t exactly a holiday market although it’s similar to some markets, which have been aggregating and listing makers and vendors online.

Instead, it’s an app featuring a directory that allows shoppers to browse and connect with northeast Ohio galleries, artisan businesses, artists and makers, both online and those with brick-and-mortar facilities. It includes contacts for hundreds of local businesses & artists that offer handmade items which can be filtered to help you find just what you’re looking for. It’s a useful tool for year-round shopping.

The app was created by artist/entrepreneur Susie Frazier, known for her nature-based art. She’s also known for exploring and coming up with new ideas such as a TV series, a book and a maker event at 78th Street Studios, where she works, has her shop and was one of the pioneer artists. Susie shares more about Maker Town here.
