Inlet Dance Hosts Live Benefit, with Many Adjustments

Sat 11/14 @ 11AM-3PM

Cleveland’s Inlet Dance is going ahead with its 5th annual Big Bash benefit titled “Looking Back, Moving Forward.” And unlike most arts groups, who benefits have been all virtual this year, they’re hosting a (mostly) live event.

It will look very different from the gala evenings of the past however. Taking place at Inlet’s new facility at Pivot — Center for Art, Dance, & Expression (formerly the Astrup Awning Building), it will offer timed entries to small groups (no more than ten people) for a one-hour tour of the space, drinks, snacks, live dance performances and a swag bag featuring items from area businesses and organizations. Ticket buyers will also be entered into a raffle. Visitors are asked to wear a mask at all times, and to eat and drink only in the Garden Studio; and keep social distance. Inlet will be using various safety precautions to keep everyone healthy.

Tickets are $75, $40 for those under 35. Time slots available are 10am, 11am, 2pm and 3pm. A virtual edition of the event will be available a week later for a $15 donation. Go here for tickets.
