Anyway you slice it, holiday shopping is going to look different this year with fewer crowded big box stores and, most likely, more Amazon.
Instead, why don’t you take the opportunity to shop small and shop local? There are a multitude of ways to do so, both online and in person, with less crowded, socially distanced measures in place of elbow-to-elbow holiday markets. We will certainly miss Cleveland Bazaar’s huge holiday market at 78th Street Studios, for instance, but they’ve joined with two other regional markets to present a big online shopping opportunities. And some of the artists/businesses at 78th Street will be open, spread over more days.
There are small pop-up shops, appointment shopping, an online boutique tour and specialty gift cards. We’ve rounded up some of these gift shopping opportunities for you.
