Yet another organization is trying to raise some money with a virtual benefit in lieu of the usual galas.
The Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization is hosting a raffle and silent auction, which you can bid on/enter now, with winners announced at an online event Thursday November 19. Bid on neighborhood-oriented prizes such as creating your own ice cream flavor from Sweet Moses, a dinner for eight by Spice Catering, a wallet from FOUNT, and an orginal painting by Eileen Dorsey who works out of 78th Street Studios.
The live presentation on Facebook will also include a performance by freelance classical music Opus 216, and remarks from DSCDO’s 2020 honorees, Cleveland Public Theatre executive artistic director Raymond Bobgan and Nelson Beckford, program director for Neighborhood Revitalization & Engagement at the Cleveland Foundation.
