Normally, 78th Street Studios businesses, galleries and resident artists open their doors each month for Third Friday. And normally also, it hosts the biggest maker market of the year, Cleveland Bazaar’s holiday market, which fills then entire building for a weekend in December.
That isn’t happening this year. But 78th Street is looking to give people additional chances to shop for holiday gifts without waiting for December’s Third Friday, which falls on December 18, the last night of Chanukah — too late!
While some businesses are keeping hours during the week and even Sundays, many more will be open for Black Friday on November 27 and Small Business Saturday on Saturday November 28. Check out the retro décor at Googie Style; colored glass art at Bruce Buchanan Design; Locally designed, American-made fashion at Yellowcake Shop; vintage goods at the Byzantine Gallery; fine art at HEDGE Gallery; affordable pop art at E11even2 Gallery; evocative scenic encaustics at Dawn Tekler Studio; a variety of art and crafts pieces in all sizes at RampArts Gallery; and more.
