FRONT “Present!” Forum Considers the Intersection of Art & Policy

Sun 10/25 @ 11AM-1PM

The FRONT International Triennial scheduled for summer 2021 has been kicked back to 2022 (as it looks increasingly likely most 2021 events will be). But they’re continuing to make plans and engage people with what they’re doing. Their monthly online Present! forum is part of that initiative, offering stimulating and provocative discussion tops with both local and out-of-town guests.  It’s described as “part virtual seminar, part talk show, part Sunday sermon.”

This weekend the program will look at how art and policy-making intersection, at curating and care. There will be robots and group karaoke as well.  This month’s guests  are collaborative artist Asad Raza, interdisciplinary scientist Christian Faubel, and moCa Cleveland Chief Curator and FRONT Artistic Team member Courtenay Finn.  Christopher Kulendran Thomas, Annika Kuhlmann and others will contribute as well.

The event, which is free and open to all, takes place on Zoom. To register, go here. You can also watch the program live on the FRONT website.
