Cleveland Public Theatre Adapts “Frankenstein’s Wake” for Zoom

Fri 10/30, Sat 10/31, Sun 11/8, Sat 11/14 & Fri 11/20 @ 7PM

Sat 10/31 @ 10PM

Cleveland Public Theatre regular is no stranger to Frankenstein’s Wake, first performed off-Broadway in 1997 by Cleveland’s Theatre Labyrinth. She’s toured the piece to London and New Orleans, as well as performed it here in Cleveland. But this is the first time she’s performed an adaptation for Zoom. She and CPT’s executive artistic director Raymond Bobgan worked together to create the piece, which he directed.

“With this virtual restaging of the work, the creators seek to reflect a deeper knowledge and evolved perspective on the themes of longing, the search for one’s origin, conflict with the maker, and what it means to be human,” they share.

Each of the virtual performances is limited to 35 audience members. Tickets are $1 or a suggested donation of $1-$99. (Help support theater in these tough times!) Reservations close at 5pm the day of the performance.  Once you’ve reserved your ticket, you’ll get an email with the Zoom link one-two hours before “curtain.” Go here to get your tickets.
