Virtual Burlesque/Drag Show Features All Latin Performers

Fri 9/25 @ 9:30PM

You didn’t think Cleveland’s burlesque queen and #1 burlesque producer/promoter Bella Sin was going to sit around and do nothing during the quarantine, did you? (She’s about to announce the makeup line she’s been developing but that’s a whole other story!)

Nope. She’s gotten together with some of the many friends she’s made during her years of producing shows including the ten-year-old Ohio Burlesque Fest. And they’re going to put on a show — one hell of a show — virtually, so that people across the country can check out a kaleidoscope of performing talent.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the performers in “Sabor! A Latin Burlesque & Drag Revue” are all from Latin backgrounds, much like Sin, who is a proud Mexican immigrant who is neither a rapist nor a drug dealer but probably works harder in the average day than Trump does in a year (Hey, Donald, let’s see YOU encrust a bustier with thousands of rhinestones! Or do anything remotely that productive.)

Sin is co-producing the show with Chicago’s Vivi Valens, who’s familiar to local audiences here from her performances at the 2018 and 2019 Ohio Burlesque Festivals at the Beachland Ballroom. The cast comes from all over the country, with host Diego Colon from Chicago, and nearly two dozen burlesque and drag artists. So viewers will get to see performers who haven’t made it to their hometowns yet.

Tickets are $15, and virtual tipping through PayPal or Venmo is encouraged. Show starts at 9:30PM Cleveland time, 8pm eastern. 7pm mountain and 6pm Pacific tine.
