See an “Extravaganza of Strange” at E11even2 Gallery

Fri 9/18 @ 5-8PM

E11even2 Gallery at 78th Street Studios is opening another of those types of shows it’s known for: offbeat, entertaining, accessible and pop culture-influenced.

Bili Kribbs’ Extravaganza of Strange is, according to its creator, “a slightly spooky freakshow of the unnatural with unhinged creatures and fun characters.  I think there is also humor throughout the show that is a hard push into the surreal imagination.”

The works feature frequent, timed lighting and audio changes, long with UV paint that, when exposed to black light, reveals different images in the pieces. So visitors should plan to spend some time in the gallery. And the show is family-friendly so bring the kids — it sounds like something they’d find engaging.

Also, in keeping with E11even2’s mission of offering art anyone can afford, there’ll be prints and small castings available for as little as $15. The show opens with a reception during Third Friday September 18 and closes on Third Friday on October 16, both from 5-8pm.
