Meet Two Cleveland Artists Working on Public Art Projects

Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Wall

Fri 10/2 @ 11AM

LAND Studio’s Studio to the Street project aims to connect area artists to public art projects tour. It describes the program as “a workshop series providing local artists with the tools to successfully apply for, plan and implement public art projects.”

As part of the program it’s letting the public get a behind-the-scenes look at the artists working on such projects, via virtual studio tour. Join them this week as they visit Angelica Pozo’s Tremont studio where she germinates idea for her tile/ceramics-based projects such as the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Wall in University Circle across from the Western Reserve Historical Society and the tile mural in Lincoln Park. You’ll also get to meet Corrie Slawson, best known for her two-dimensional collage/mixed-media work mapping changes in the urban landscape.

Sign up for the Zoom tour here.
