Local Conservation Expert Speaks About Biodiversity in Zoom Webinar

Wed 9/30 @ 7:30PM

The nonprofit conservation organization Protect Geauga Parks works to preserve the natural landscape of Geauga County for pubic enjoyment and recreation and to battle politicians with more exploitive, opportunistic goals.

The group is hosting a Zoom webinar with one of northeast Ohio’s strongest voices for conservation, David Beach. The writer and environmental activist founded EcoCity Cleveland and led the Green City/Blue Lake Institute at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History from 2008-2017.

His talk, “New Strategies for Conserving Nature in Northeast Ohio When Climate Change Will Change Everything,” will cover the Regional Biodiversity Vision he helped develop for LEAP (Lake Erie Allegheny Partnership for Diversity), a consortium of conservation organizations whose common goal encourage biodiversity in our ecosystems and habitats.

The webinar is free but you must register. Go here. You’ll then get a confirmation email with information on how to hook up.
