CreativeMorningsCLE is part of an international network of loosely connected local groups which host monthly speakers on a topic proposed by one of the groups.
This month the Las Vegas group chose the topic “spectrum,” and the Cleveland group is using the term as it applies to autism, where those who are autistic are said to be “on the spectrum,” reflecting the diverse ways and degrees of seriousness with which the condition can manifest itself. The speaker is Melissa Armstrong-Brine, a pediatric clinical neuropsychologist at MetroHealth, who specializes in identifying and treating neurodevelopmental disorders.
