Peninsula Flea Returns for Mid-Month Market

Sat 8/15 @ 10AM-4PM

There’s a dearth of summer maker markets and art fairs this summer. Despite being mostly outdoors, they attract crowds and many have decided it’s just not safe. But the Peninsula Flea at Heritage Farms, now in its sixth year, has lots of open space so they’re not only happening, but they’ve added additional mid-month dates to their regular monthly schedule to give vendors more opportunities to sell.

So there’s another market this Saturday — masks required, vendors well spaced, with plenty of room to browse the original art, handmade crafts, unique collectibles, upcycled items and tasty treats in the barnyard, tree barn and fields. Look for things such as garden glass, pet bandanas, greeting cards, herbal bodies products, birdhouses, soy candles, quilts, jewelry (of course), baby gifts, coffee, baked goods and ice cream. You can even pick up your garlic for fall planting (it goes in the ground in October). Come a little early at 9:30am and join Pam Burda for some socially distanced yoga at the farm.

Admission and parking are free. Find a vendor list and more info here. There’s one market remaining, on September 5.
