Pianist Greta Pasztor Plays a Concert for the Hudson Library

Sun 7/12 @ 2PM

Northeast Ohio is brimming with opportunities to hear professional-level classical music, many of them free. The reason is the plethora of outstanding conservatories in the region.

That’s why someone like pianist Greta Pasztor, who was born in Romania, is here in northeast Ohio, She graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in 2018 with degrees in keyboard performance and music theory and moved on to Kent State University where she is pursuing master’s degrees in performance and choral conducting.

She’ll be performing a virtual concert through the Hudson Library & Historical Society, where she’ll perform a variety of music that cuts across era and cultures. It includes J.S. Bach’s Gigue from Partita No. 1; Franz Schubert’s Impromptu Op. 90 No. 3; Frederic Chopin’s Ballade in F Minor; Louis Moreau Gottschalk’s Souvenir de Porto Rico; Aaron Copland’s The Cat and the Mouse, and Ruralia Hungarica by Erno Dohnányi.

The concert will be streamed on the Hudson Library’s Facebook page on Sunday July 12@ 2pm and then posted on its YouTube page for listening after that.
