David Pepper is the chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party. He’s also the published author of three thriller novels featuring reporter Jack Sharpe. Unsurprisingly, he focuses on what he knows best: politics. His new book, The Voter File, which comes with a recommendation blurb from Bill Clinton, plays on one of many Americans’ greatest fears and one Republicans have sought to weaponize with lies — election manipulation.
The book came out early this month, and given the major election looming, he’s probably grateful there’s no opportunity for a book tour. But he will be doing Zoom events, such as the one he’s doing at (for?) the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library.
