Join a Clean-Up at Irishtown Bend

Sat 6/27 @ 10AM-5PM

The usual community clean-ups have been kind of limited in number this spring as organizations have tried to work their way through what’s safe and what’s not. But being outdoors, with plenty of room to stay apart, they’re one summer community activity that’s still viable.

So Ohio City Inc, Councilman Kerry McCormack, Cleveland Metroparks, West Creek Conservancy, Cleveland Port Authority, and LAND studio are joining forces to clean up the Irishtown Bend hillside this Saturday. They’ll provide cleaning supplies, water and fruit; you supply an hour or more of your time.

“This will be kicking off an exciting year for the future Irishtown Bend Park with more clean ups, public art, community planning, and the demolition of hilltop buildings,” they promise. “More details to follow.”

Meet at the 1477 West 25th Street parking lot. They encourage wearing masks and practicing social distancing because they’d love to see you at the Ohio City neighborhood clean-up in July too!
