Gender-Fluid Dance Film “Aviva” Available from CIA Cinematheque

Through Thursday 7/9

At a time when issues of gender fluidity have become more openly discussed, the new film Aviva, directed by Israeli-America director Boaz Yakin, has found confluence with the moment. It features four dancers — two men and two women — who represent the masculine and feminine sides of a French woman and American man in a romantic relationship.

The adults-only film will be available as a streaming exclusive from the CIA Cinematheque through Thursday July 9, for a $10 screening fee. Renters have 48 hours to watch the film. Go here to access it.
