Free Concerts Return to Waterloo’s Outdoor Tower Stage

Fri 6/19 @ 7-9PM

Music is coming back to Waterloo Road this weekend! No, the Beachland isn’t quite ready to open up yet (Owner Cindy Barber told us that their first concerts will likely be held in the parking lot, perhaps in July). But the free outdoor Tower Music concerts, held on the Tower stage at the plaza at West 156th and Waterloo, will be starting again n June 19.

Local vocalist Erin Nicole Neal, who has done tributes to some of the powerhouse pop and R&B singers such as Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Beyonce and Whitney House, will perform a mix of rock, pop, funk, soul, jazz and blues with her band the Chill Factors, while Cleveland band the Covemen provide a contrast with their original garage rock.

They’re limiting the crowd on the plaza to about 50 people to allow for social distancing so they’re asking people to register here (They didn’t say anything about listening from across the street!) The concert will also be live streamed for those who’d like to listen at home.
