Doug Katz Sunday Brunch Online Cooking Class Benefits Countryside Market

Sun 6/7 @ 10-11AM

Chef Doug Katz, who has become respected in town for his excellent but informal eateries such as fire food and drink at Shaker Square, Provenance at the Cleveland Museum of Art, and his new Zhug in the Cleveland Heights Cedar Fairmount District, is also loved for his affable, unpretentious personality, the opposite of the preening superstar chef.

His many fans will undoubtedly be excited to log onto Chase the Flavor, when he joins you to oversee your Sunday brunch at home via zoom. You provide your own ingredient while he tells you how to put them together; when you register, you’ll get an emailed ingredient list in advance.

While the class is free, there’s a suggested $20 donation which benefits the Countryside Farmers Markets in Summit County.

“Doug has been a long time supporter of our work and we are incredibly honored that he would like all proceeds to go towards supporting the work we do to ensure healthy, fresh food is accessible to all; farm and food entrepreneurs have the resources needed to operate viable businesses; and farmland is protected and preserved,” they say.
