Have you taken in a performance by Cleveland’s unique dance ensemble Dancing Wheels and wanted to know learn in more depth about how they go about tapping into and blending the movement potential of both wheelchair and “stand-up” dancers?
The company is offering a weeklong adult summer dance intensive, a crash course in the theory and practice of physically integrated dance, to be held both online and in its Euclid Avenue studio. It will cover such things as ballet and modern technique, new work development and Dancing Wheels repertoire. There’ll be video of a final performance with a link shared with participants.
