PHOTOSTREAM: Enjoying the Lakefront by Anastasia Pantsios

If you’re in need of a dose of fresh air — and who isn’t? — don’t forget that one of Northeast Ohio’s biggest assets is its lakefront. And there’s miles and miles of it, ranging from the beaches of Mentor Headlands on the East to the beaches of Huntington Beach on west, to the the marina at MLK Drive and the expanse of Edgewater Park, to the lakefront walk at East 55th Street with its omnipresent fishermen and the rocks at East 72nd where you can relax and watch a sunset.

Go check out the many lakefront locations — in Cleveland, they’re mostly run by the Cleveland Metroparks who have really upgraded them since they took over. You’ll find plenty of room to be alone and keep your distance from the crowds.
