OSU Extension Offers Workshops on Turning Trash into Treasure

You may be sitting around your house contemplating that garden you’re going to start soon or how you’re going to fix up your yard, once the darn weather gets nice (can you believe we had snow just this past week ?!!)

Here’s a project you can start now with stuff you’ve probably got lying around the house. The Ohio State University Extension is offering Upcycle It! — “discover how to turn trash into treasure.” The online workshop, taking place every Tuesday and Thursday May 5-29 @ 3:30pm will look at all the things you can create to enhance your outdoor life this summer, including backyard/porch décor like windchimes and bird feeders, camping gear to have a pretend wilderness outing in your yard. Games, jump ropes and more — all with materials you probably have on hand.

The workshops are free and open to all. Pre-registration is required: email stone.363@osu.edu.
