For once last month before the galleries at Summit Artspace reopen in July, the Summit Art Walk in downtown Akron is taking place virtually.
Log onto Facebook or Instagram Saturday evening to view art such as the You-Topia virtual art exhibition, watch artist interviews, and even shop the work you see from artist-tenants at Summit Artspace, as well, its Artwalk partners and pop-up vendors. They’ll also be offering a preview of the new shows you’ll be able to see in person when Artwalk goes live Sat 7/10.
They include the Artists of Rubber City 2020 juried regional art exhibition in the Main Gallery and Motion//Emotion juried photography exhibition in the THREE G Gallery. Get your artsiest mask ready and be ready to social distance.
