Cleveland Shops Facebook Page Promotes Local Retail

So many small local businesses have remained open for online sales or, in the case of restaurants, for carryout or delivery. And they’ve been brainstorming for ways to let people know they’re out there. CoolCleveland helps out as much as we can!

One person who’s pitching in is veteran local marketing/communications expert Myra Orenstein, who has organized the Cleveland Shops Facebook page.

Created on April 3, its participants include a range of Northeast Ohio-based brick and mortar independent retailers such as Mar-Lou Shoes, Geiger’s Clothing and Sports, Fiddlehead Gallery, Mitchell Sotka, The Wine Spot, Still Point Gallery, Blackbird Fly Boutique, Alson’s Jewelers, Wine & Design, and many more. Business are posting what they’ve got in stocks, sales they’re having, events and so on. Some are still only online; others may be reopening soon. They’ll keep you posted if you go to the page.

“We hope all locally owned independent retailers will post on this page!” says Orenstein. “Let’s make some noise!”
