Here’s some great news for zoo lovers! The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, which has been closed for two months, is dipping its toe into reopening with its Cruise the Zoo experience.

The driving tour will take visitors through such exhibits as Asian Highlands, African Elephant Crossing and Rosebrough Tiger Passage to see animals such as tigers, grizzly bears, snow leopards, takin, reindeer, lions and kangaroos. Zoo employees will be on hand to help steer visitors along a route that will include animal ambassador experiences; there’s also be a free audio guide available. And there’ll be a scavenger hunt to locate hidden animals displays with hints contained in the audio guide.

Cruise the Zoo will take place Wednesday-Sunday @ 10am-4pm through Sun May 31 with reservations scheduled in one-hour tie slots. Admission is $40 per car; $20 per car for members; and it must be purchased advance online. Visitors must stay in in their cars To reserve a Cruise the Zoo time slot, go to FutureForWildlife.org/Cruise.
