Kids’ Book Bank Changes Lives

2 out of 3 low-income kids don’t own a single book. The Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank is changing that.

“By putting books into the hands of our community’s children, the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank has opened the door for them to learn, to imagine, and to begin creating their future.

Their work has impacted not only the children but also helped deepen the bond between children and their parents, strengthening the family and creating an environment where they are learning together.”

Kathleen Hallissey, The Cleveland Foundation

Since it was founded 2016, the volunteer-driven Kids’ Book Bank has distributed two million books to more than 100,000 kids in Greater Cleveland. There’s a lot of ways to get involved —give it some thought as a potential project once we’re able to go out again.
